The Garden City Buffalos
have five principals in life: family, friends, community, camaraderie and patriotism. The group was established to allow a group of close friends within the Garden City community to get together on a regular basis while still focusing on our families and having a positive impact on our community.
Typically, the Garden City Buffalos will meet every 2 months, with the exception of the summer months. These meetings will be designed to cover relevant business issues (new membership, event planning, etc.) up front and be followed by a casual night of drinking and fellowship.
In addition to the meetings, we will plan the following events on a yearly basis:

A Family Gathering which will typically be a picnic for all members and their entire families

A Fund Raiser which will be a service event designed to raise money or help out in the community
-
A Father/Child(ren) Getaway which is a two day trip for fathers and their children only

A Holiday Party for members and wives/significant others

| On August 11 TEAM BUFFALOS SWIM ACROSS AMERICA
went into the water 17 large and raised OVER $30,000.00 FOR THE CAUSE ! GREAT JOB ! SPECIAL THANKS TO SUE CASEY WHO HAS KNOCKED THE LEATHER OFF THE BALL.

2007 Camp Outing Huge Success!!!!!!
Malachy, Bobby ,Michael and Brad were Big heros with all the buying, transporting, cooking and t-shirt making. (My grill made it home before I did. There it was sitting neatly by my garage!) Timmy, tie-dying was a blast, as was the incredible hare story. Also thank you to our rowers who brought the boats between our beach and the rental place, those who organized the softball game, and everyone else who pitched in throughout the weekend. That includes some really great kids who were helping out too.

The Lone Buffalo Fund
A fund established by the Buffalos to benefit local families in need and causes which are important to our community. This includes the Garden City Community fund, Garden City 9/11 Memorial, Friends of Karen Charity for sick children, Swim Across America, and several donations to families in need in Garden City.
